Unless you live under a rock you will probably be aware of the social media brouhaha between Ghanaians and Nigerians after controversial Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta
Wale said Nigerian artiste, Wizkid is not a superstar.
According to him, he does not see anything “extraordinary” about Wizkid even though he claims to be the best African artiste.
The ‘Comfortable Lead’ crooner affirmed his statement by adding that meeting the ‘Ojuelegba’ hit maker will not be a stunner.
Instead, Wizkid should rather be amazed when he comes face-to-face with him (Shatta Wale).
However most of the Ghanaian artistes have laid back amidst the controversy which is immensely trending on social media.
But Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal has thrown his support behind Shatta Wale insisting that Shatta Wale hasn’t disrespected anyone to receive such harsh insults from Wizkid’s fans.
According to the ‘Give me vibe’ hit maker, Shatta Wale openly aired his opinion hence he couldn’t fathom why people will feel offended at it.
Medikal further took a swipe at the Ghanaian Industry Players who are mute amidst the storm.
“Shatta no disrespect anybody, he just talk ein mind. Y’all musicians keep quite but on a low u go de message am for favors, smd. SM for life…!” he tweeted.
