SEFA KAYI UPBRAIDS "MOSQUITO" OVER COMMENT
Veteran radio and television presenter, who is the Host of Peace FM's flagship program Kokrooko, Kwame Sefa Kayi has censured comments by the General Secretary of the demurral National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia over the electrocuting of the late Captain Maxwell Mahama.
The controversial politician, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, speaking on Asempa FM on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, noted that the petrifying murder happened "under the direct supervision of President Akufo Addo." He strained, ever since the Mahama administration handed over a "peaceful Ghana" to the President Akufo Addo, the country has "known no peace".
" From the beating up of a serving police officer at the Flagstaff House to the beating up of a Regional Security Coordinator, the disarray of a court process, the burning of toll booths, and the molestation of Civil Servants, the lawless culture of impunity has now reached the doorstep of the Ghana Armed Forces." He assertively stated.
Rebutting on Hon. Asiedu Nketia's statement, the seasoned broadcaster, Mr. Kwame Sefa Kayi was downrightly amazed that he (Asiedu Nketia) would "play politics" with a delicate issue as the murder of the Military Captain. He ascribed the comments as very "shameful and irresponsible" and further queried General Mosquito whether he would have sought to score political points with the issue if the deceased happened to be his child.
Mr. Sefa Kayi also berated the recent practice of practice of people capturing graphics scenes or others in distress with their handsets and sharing it later on social media. He advised general public to cease circulating pictures and videos of the sleazy act since it is disrespectful to the family of the deceased soldier to view the video online.
